Granola & Sourdough Honey & Jam Tart

Ingredients

Serves 4-6

  • Box of Dorset Cereals Simply Granola (or similar)

  • 275g Maters & Co honey (or similar)

  • Bertinet Bakery sourdough bread (or similar)

  • The Cherry Tree Cherry with Amaretto Extra Jam

  • 75g unsalted butter

  • 2 free range eggs

  • 200ml double cream

  • Lemon

Method

  • Whizz a box of Dorset Cereal Simply Granola with 75g of melted butter in a blender/processor, until sand like in texture

  • Press the mixture into the base and up the sides of the tart case

  • Spoon and spread on to the base a generous layer of The Cherry Tree Cherry & Amaretto Jam or other The Cherry Tree Jam of your choosing

  • In a large bowl combine 200g of Bertinet sourdough breadcrumbs with 275g of warmed Maters & Co honey

  • Stir in 2 eggs and 200ml double cream and the juice of one lemon

  • Pour into the tart case and bake for 25 minutes in a 180ºC oven until just set
