Ingredients
Serves 4-6
Box of Dorset Cereals Simply Granola (or similar)
275g Maters & Co honey (or similar)
Bertinet Bakery sourdough bread (or similar)
75g unsalted butter
2 free range eggs
200ml double cream
Lemon
Method
Whizz a box of Dorset Cereal Simply Granola with 75g of melted butter in a blender/processor, until sand like in texture
Press the mixture into the base and up the sides of the tart case
Spoon and spread on to the base a generous layer of The Cherry Tree Cherry & Amaretto Jam or other The Cherry Tree Jam of your choosing
In a large bowl combine 200g of Bertinet sourdough breadcrumbs with 275g of warmed Maters & Co honey
Stir in 2 eggs and 200ml double cream and the juice of one lemon
Pour into the tart case and bake for 25 minutes in a 180ºC oven until just set
